finding a place in this world

So I took a test to see how I fit into all the religious bunk out there, and this is where I ended up. Of course I don't believe in the utmost authority of internet quizzes, but if I were to be a religiouschick, I would definitely go the UU route. Funny.

read

I'm trying to come up with a few ideas for the non-profit WedSpag, and I'd like to tie them in with our fun WedSpag too. One of the things that is important to me is literacy, especially encouraging reading among children and families.

My uncle suggested a book called Strega Nona, and I plan to see if we can get some sort of deal with the publishers and put it in with the food and other literature that I hope to distribute to families. (Even though I've worked in social services long enough to know that anything suggesting witchcraft or magic sometimes doesn't float so well with the families we serve. You can't win at anything, so to that I say "suck it")

Anyway, would you ladies be interested in maybe starting a WedSpag bookclub? It doesn't have to be the kind where we all sit down and talk about Chapters 1-7 in a book. It can be as simple as a book exchange or something. Everyone can bring a bag of books and we can swap and share. I am pretty generous with books, and rarely keep them after I'm done reading them but I know I still have a ton of them in the basement.

Just a thought...

Heads Up Fat Girls!

Hey, hey friends! I am making the trip up from the deep south in the middle of March. I wanted to let any of the old pub crew know that it would be fun to reunite again. I am planning to be at Lora's for March 25th Wednesday Spagetti! Tavia maybe we could car pool?
And, I can't wait to meet all of the regular Wednesday spagetti goers!

PS-- Lora, I am assuming that all of your the readers know that Fat Girls is a state of mind and not a state of body, right?
