If you weren't there last night, you missed out. We ate a lot of noodles and bread and cheese and oil and Trader Joe's meatless balls and built a fort using a blanket and my kitchen table and we all hung out under there for a good while.
It's really hard to climb out of that kind of fort when you are a grown-up. I still haven't fully recovered.
I shoulda brought the camera in. Maybe next time, but I just don't think it will be the same.

How could I have forgotten the wonders of the blanket fort? I've got to make up for a serious omission in the boy's education, I'm afraid.
